Mom's Chili


Mom's Chili
2 c red beans (or 2 cans if in a hurry)
cook at least 3-4 hours on stove
or overnight in crock pot with lots of water

Dump off water

Add hamburger (browned and with onion and garlic)
3-4 c water
3-4 beef bouillon
2 TB chili pwdr
8 oz tomato sauce
1 can tomato and green chili
salt
pepper
thyme
(if you want) water/flour mixture to thicken-mom only does sometimes
at least 5 hours in crockpot or all day

  1. Does mom leave the tomato/green chili as is or does she blend them up?
